Remote User: Commentspresently restoring oh-6a 67-16623 to flying condition; can you put me in touch with the pilot? thanx, bob pbmheli@snet.net Remote User: CommentsAnyone know the name of Tiger 17? We were flying a Psyops mission late one night (0300) and Tiger 17 was providing gun coverage. Flight conditions were absolutely horrible...we should have not been in the air. It was on that mission that he crashed. RIP Tiger 17 Remote User: CommentsI was in CO D 229th AHB. in 71-72. I was in Maint.and scout PLT. I knew some of the people in the pic's. Woody was in my plt. Nickols and Dunn were in guns.I was at bearcat and Bien Hoa. Anyone remember me (marvin House)? I was a sp/4 at the time. Iwould enjoy hearing from you and sharing some pic's.It's nice to have a site like this. Thanks to all! marvinhouse@sbcglobalnet.com Remote User: CommentsIt's good to see we are still remembered. I served with the gun company as both a Door Gunner/Crew Chief and a Tech Inspector. I was shot down on two occasions, and am still one of the few people to ride an armed gunship through a roll on the Golf Course and walk away (Any landing is a good landing eh?) Best Regards SFC Sidney S. Reeder (ret) E mail: Sid Ree@msn.com Remote User: CommentsAfter years of looking for something about the 229th D Co iwas smiling when I found this site.I have a lot of memories some good some bad but I have never lost the pride I felt then and still do now about what we did. Thanks for the memories. Sp5 Glenn Bowcott
